CyberCash, PointBase and VITA Systems choose Redwood City agency
Redwood City, CA - April 19, 1999. Connect Direct, a full-service
agency specializing in direct marketing for high-technology companies,
recently announced three new additions to its fast-growing roster of
high-tech clients.
CyberCash, Inc. in Reston, Virginia, has asked Connect Direct to
develop targeted e-mail and direct mail programs in support of
ICVERIFY, the industry's dominant credit authorization and electronic
transaction processing software. The campaigns will target both retail
and online merchants and also POS (Point of Sale) solution providers.
PointBase, Inc. (formerly DataBahn) in San Mateo, California, has
selected Connect Direct to produce a series of online and direct mail
programs designed to promote the company's 100% Pure Java embedded
database solution. PointBase data management technology is used for
Java servers, Java-based packaged applications, and the new breed of
mobile client and Web devices.
VITA Systems, Inc. in San Mateo, California has chosen Connect Direct
to create lead generation programs for VITAOffice.com, a Web-based
business infrastructure that enables high-growth, small- to mid-sized
companies to outsource routine business processes such as expense
reporting, purchasing and timesheets.
The new clients continue a string of successes for the fast-growing,
10-person firm. In 1998, business grew more than 35 percent and the
agency was named by the San Jose Business Journal as one of the "Top
100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Silicon Valley."
