DIRECT MARKETING AGENCY NAMED ONE OF SILICON VALLEY'S
"TOP 100"
Redwood City firm also adds three new clients
Redwood City, CA - September 15, 1999. Connect Direct, a
full-service agency specializing in direct marketing for high-technology
companies, has been named one of the "Top 100 Fastest Growing Private
Companies in Silicon Valley" for 1998 by the San Jose Business Journal.
It is the second year in a row that the Redwood City firm has been
so recognized.
Compiled annually and audited by the accounting firm Price Waterhouse
Cooper, the list ranks companies based on three years' percentage growth
ending in 1998. For that period, Connect Direct recorded a cumulative
growth rate of 92 percent.
Separately, Connect Direct also announced three additions to its
fast-growing roster of high-tech clients:
Icarian, Inc. in Sunnyvale, California has asked Connect Direct
to develop an ongoing program of print and online campaigns in support
of the company's Web-based eWorkforce Planning solutions. The campaigns
target Human Resource managers and other executives at fast-growing
companies and include direct mail, broadcast e-mail, online newsletters
and banner ads.
Impresse Corporation, also in Sunnyvale, California, has selected
Connect Direct to produce direct mail campaigns designed to promote the
company's e-commerce solution: impresse.com, a Web-based service for
print buyers and commercial printers.
Searchbutton.com in Mountain View, California has chosen Connect
Direct to create a series of customer acquisition programs for its web
site search and activity reporting service. The campaigns will target
both small businesses owners and Webmasters at large corporations.
Connect Direct was founded in 1990 by company president Howard J. Sewell,
formerly a marketing manager at Oracle Corporation. The company says
that 1999 revenues have already increased more than 40 percent over
the same period in 1998.
