AMIDST INDUSTRY SLOWDOWN, CONNECT DIRECT ADDS THREE NEW CLIENTS
Redwood City agency tabbed as one of "America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies"

Redwood City, CA - October 30, 2001 - Connect Direct, a full-service agency specializing in direct marketing for high-technology companies, announced three recent additions to its client roster:

Intermec Technologies Corporation in Everett, Washington, has partnered with Connect Direct to support its handheld cordless scanners and bar code label printers. Intermec develops, manufactures, and integrates wired and wireless automated data collection, mobile computing systems, bar code printers and label media. The company's products and services are used by customers in a variety of industries to improve productivity, quality, and responsiveness of business operations, from supply chain management and enterprise resource planning to field sales and service.

TrueSpectra in San Mateo, California, has selected Connect Direct to create a series of lead generation programs to promote the company's high-performance, server-based imaging solutions that provide a more efficient way for organizations to manage, publish and repurpose images from single source files. The campaigns include both direct mail and e-mail newsletter advertising.

Vicinity Corporation, in Sunnyvale, California, chose Connect Direct to develop both direct mail and online campaigns in support of the company's Enterprise Location Services, solutions that use Web, wireless and speech platforms to direct customers searching for a specific product or service to the client company's closest brick-and-mortar location.

All three clients have also opted to utilize Campaign Connection[tm], Connect Direct's new web-based campaign tracking service that enables clients to track campaign results in real time.

Separately, the San Jose Business Journal named the firm #10 on its list of the "Top 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Silicon Valley" for 2000.
