Redwood City, CA - January 20, 2004 - Connect Direct, a full service agency specializing in direct marketing for high technology companies, announced that 2003 billings increased a record 191% over the same period in 2002.

The increase in billings is largely due to the burgeoning business recovery in Silicon Valley, says Howard J. Sewell, the agency's founder and president. "Companies are only now beginning to invest in marketing again, and being cautious, they're turning first to measurable, ROI-based activities. Given that direct marketing is our exclusive focus, we're a natural fit," Sewell commented.

Planning for Expansion

In addition to the increase in billings, the agency also moved in April 2003 to new, larger headquarters in Redwood City, re-designed its Web site (http://www.connectdirect.com/), and is actively hiring to accommodate what it anticipates will be another year of rapid growth.

Connect Direct has also expanded its line of service offerings. New programs include White Paper Connection, a service that promotes client content such as white papers, case studies, and product collateral across a network of business and technology Web sites, and Webinar Connection, a turnkey program that combines best-of-breed Web broadcast technology with best practices in event promotion.

New clients signed in 2003 included FineGround Networks, Kadiri, Reactivity and Zone Labs. They join Connect Direct's existing roster of high-tech clients that includes Hewlett-Packard, Hyperion, and E.piphany.
