CONNECT DIRECT ANNOUNCES 24% INCREASE IN 2004 BILLINGS
Agency attributes increase to recovery in marketing spending; adds TriNet to client roster

Redwood City, CA - February 15, 2005 - Connect Direct, a full service agency specializing in direct marketing for high technology companies, announced that its 2004 gross billings increased more than 24 percent over the previous year. This increase follows on the heels of an even more impressive 191 percent increase in 2003. The company is currently hiring aggressively to meet the demands of its increase in new business.

Howard J. Sewell, Connect Direct's founder and president, attributes the increase to the ongoing recovery in marketing spending in the Silicon Valley and surrounding areas, funded in part by a welcome upsurge in venture capital investment and expansion in the B2B segment nationally. "Our observation is that, as marketing starts to ramp up again, targeted, measurable programs are commanding the lion's share of budgets," says Sewell. "Because we've always focused on direct marketing exclusively, we've been in a good position to capitalize on the recovery," he adds.

New Client Added

In addition to the increase in billings, Connect Direct announced the addition of TriNet to its fast-growing client roster.

TriNet (www.trinet.com), of San Leandro, California, a leading nationwide provider of outsourced benefits, payroll, and human resources services, selected Connect Direct to develop a range of lead generation campaigns including broadcast e-mail, direct mail, newsletter sponsorships, and webinar invitations targeted to white collar professionals within the technology and financial services sectors.
