CONNECT DIRECT ADDS NEW MANAGEMENT IN CLIENT SERVICE, MEDIA ROLES
New senior staff bring breadth of experience to fast-growing agency
Redwood City, Calif. - February 20, 2007 - Connect
Direct Inc. (CDI), a full service direct marketing agency specializing
in demand generation for high technology companies, has named Melinda
Stoker and Peter Marvits as its new client services director and
media director, respectively. Both will report to Connect Direct
president Howard J. Sewell.
A 20-year veteran of high-tech marketing, Stoker will manage the
CDI account team and take on primary responsibility for account
planning and client strategy. She brings more than two decades'
experience in client service, integrated marketing, demand generation,
and branding, including senior marketing and management roles at
Intellicorp, Bank of America, and The StayWell Company. Prior to
joining CDI, she consulted for leading high tech companies including
Autodesk, Cisco, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Sybase, Symantec, and numerous
start-ups.
Peter Marvits will take over responsibility for media strategy at
CDI, and oversee all media planning, research, and partnerships.
He brings to the agency more than 15 years media experience with a
primary focus in online and interactive media. Marvits has held
senior media roles at leading agencies including McCann Erickson,
Grey Advertising, and Young & Rubicam, and has worked on accounts
such as General Motors, Safeway, Coca-Cola, Palm, and Autodesk.
Prior to joining CDI, he was a media director with the interactive
agency Clear Ink.
According to Sewell, "We're thrilled to have two individuals of
